EIC COMMUNITIES PITCHING SESSIONS (22–24 SEPTEMBER 2025)

Online

Policymakers, investors, researchers, and innovators are invited to mark their calendars for 22–24 September 2025, when the EIC Communities project will host its second series of Pitching Sessions.

This three-day online event will spotlight a select group of European Innovation Council (EIC)-funded projects as they pitch their innovative solutions in cleantech, industry, and health. It’s a unique opportunity for stakeholders to gain insight into new European research and engage with technologies at an early stage.

Showcasing Europe’s emerging innovations

Organised under the EIC Communities initiative, these pitching sessions aim to foster collaboration between EIC beneficiaries and the broader innovation community. A curated set of EIC-funded project teams will present their latest results and outline their needs for further development and partnerships, giving stakeholders a front-row look at some of the most promising emerging innovations in Europe. The event serves as a platform to showcase breakthrough solutions – from clean technologies and advanced industrial applications to novel healthcare innovations – and to encourage active involvement of stakeholders in the projects’ future growth.

Each project pitch will be concise and focused. Every participating EIC project is allotted 5 minutes to present its project, results, and collaboration needs, followed by an interactive Q&A where attendees can seek clarifications or additional details. This dynamic format ensures that in a short span, stakeholders get a rich overview of multiple innovations and the opportunity to interact directly with the researchers and entrepreneurs behind them.

All sessions will be held virtually on the Zoom platform, allowing easy access for participants across Europe and beyond.

Who should attend: The pitching sessions are open to all stakeholders interested in Europe’s innovation ecosystem – including policymakers shaping future research agendas, investors scouting for the next big breakthrough, corporate R&D representatives, researchers, and innovators looking for collaboration opportunities. While the pitching slots are reserved for EIC beneficiary projects, stakeholders in the audience will have the chance to ask questions, provide feedback, and potentially forge connections with the presenting teams.

How to participate: Stakeholders can register their attendance through the official event page on the EIC Community portal. Upon registering (registration is open until 1 September 2025), participants may indicate which sector or project topics interest them most. This helps tailor the sessions to stakeholder interests and ensures you won’t miss the pitches most relevant to you. The list of participating Horizon Europe and EIC-funded projects will be announced on the event page as the date approaches – be sure to follow that page for updates on the pitching line-up and detailed programme information.

Connecting early with breakthrough technologies

Beyond simply watching presentations, the EIC Communities Pitching Sessions are designed to spark collaboration. Don’t miss the chance to discover Europe’s latest deep-tech technologies and connect with the teams behind them at an early stage.

After the pitching sessions, organisers will facilitate follow-up interactions: stakeholders can express interest in particular projects, and each pitching team will receive a summary of interested contacts. This paves the way for one-on-one meetings and deeper discussions, turning the initial pitch into concrete networking and partnership opportunities.
