LAUNCH EVENT – INDUSTRY COMMUNITY

Today, the EIC Communities project officially kicked off a series of Community Building Sessions within its Cleantech, Health, and Industry Communities of Practice. These Communities are designed to bring together innovators, experts, and stakeholders to drive collaboration and innovation in these crucial sectors.

Over the coming weeks, three launch events between February and March will provide an excellent platform to introduce participating EIC projects to the diverse activities and opportunities within their Community of belonging.

The inaugural Community to take flight is Industry. Scientific innovators and projects within it are dedicated to integrating advanced technologies into applications like DNA data storage and cognitive robotics, pushing the frontier in AI for autonomous systems. The Community is also leading aerospace innovations and exploring the quantum realm for breakthroughs in computing power and material science.

The session was focused on understanding participant expectations, co-creating rules and procedures, and defining key activities and topics. The Industry get-together witnessed a turnout of over 45 scientific innovators joining across various thematic areas, ranging from responsible AI to space tech & sustainability. This gathering provided a priceless opportunity for EIC-supported innovators and external experts to meet, exchange insights, and shape the future trajectory of the Industry Community.
