BRIDGING THE GAP: SECOND EIC WEBINAR ON COGNITIVE AI & HUMAN INTELLIGENCE
As artificial intelligence (AI) systems evolve, the boundaries between human and machine intelligence are becoming increasingly blurred. Can AI replicate human reasoning? Can it develop common sense? And what does this mean for the future of human-AI interaction?
The EIC Communities project and the European Innovation Council (EIC) are set to tackle these questions in the second webinar of its Beyond the Hypeseries, titled Cognitive AI: Bridging the Gap Between Human and Machine Intelligence. Taking place on 20 March 2025, this event will explore how AI systems are learning to process information, make decisions, and interact more naturally with humans—and what challenges remain.
The session will feature a distinguished panel of researchers, innovators, and investors delving into the latest breakthroughs in cognitive multi-agent systems, multimodal AI, and investment in deep-tech AI innovation. The agenda includes:
- Understanding Cognitive AI – Sadegh Soudjani (Max Planck Institute for Software Systems).
- Transforming Human-AI Interaction – Josef Süß (BLINKIN AI).
- Bridging Human Cognition and AI – Ophelia Deroy (Ludwig Maximilian University).
- Investing in AI’s Cognitive Revolution – Eduardo Casado(Casado Group).
- Panel Discussion – A high-level debate featuring Thibauld Jongen (CommonSense Robotics), Edlira Kalemi Vakaj (Birmingham City University), and other thought leaders.
This session is designed for AI researchers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and investors eager to explore how AI can develop deeper cognitive capabilities and integrate seamlessly into human environments.
Join us on 20 March 2025, from 15:00 to 17:00 CET, for an insightful discussion on the future of Cognitive AI and its impact on society, business, and research.
